Assalamu alaykum. I am sister ZeeCei, a community leader from America. In the past year, I’ve gained the privilege to personally know and love the Alzahar Family. I am here to protect, stabilize, and stand in solidarity with the Alzahar Family through total liberation. The Father of the family, Muhammad, may he rest in peace, was killed in early October 2023, from the bombs Israel sent to their home. Since… the eldest son Adel (Adil) has taken responsibility for his family’s safety and general well-being. He has starved and gone through too many trials and tribulations to see that his family eats. Mother Aida, Sons Adel, Abdulah, Donia, and Razan, Daughters Fatima and Diamond, deserve a chance to live. Gaza is facing famine, the complete disappearance of normalcy, and the grotesque destruction of their lives. For too long, they consistently go without food, water, clothes, and baby formula, but with the support of our donors, some days they have more than most in Gaza. I urge you to know the extreme seriousness and urgency of this tragedy that is happening in Gaza, that are growing increasingly more difficult each night. At most moments, the bombings could strike and kill this family if starvation does not cease them first. Israel is actively blocking aid, internet, and any means of communication for support. The Alzahar family survives strictly from the strength of their hearts and God’s will. They endure more loss than imaginable! Still, they are compassionate and kind. Despite everything, they carry much peace, love, community, duty, and spiritual wisdom. I ask you… What makes them less deserving of the warmth and love we extend to one another? What makes them less deserving of the humanity we hold so dearly? The Alzahar Family Is deserving of all of our active support, encouragement, and solidarity. God willing, you will stand by the Alzahar Family.
